Clinical Intern
She/Her/Hers
As a Clinical Intern, Paige is finishing up her Masters at UNK. She is working towards applying for her license in behavioral health as well as drug and alcohol counseling. Paige has seen clients who range in a variety of obstacles such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, LGBTQIA+ issues, self-confidence, compassion fatigue for care-takers of spouses with high intensity medical issues, normal life stressors, and developmental life transitions.
Paige holds a B.S. in Psychology and a B.S. in Sociology. Paige’s goals as a counselor are to provide an empathetic ear within a safe space where individuals can feel heard, and develop positive change and grow in self-compassion. Reaching your goals starts with validation and empathetic understanding.
Understanding where you are in life can feel overwhelming, my goal as an intern is to provide a place where a workable reality to reach your goals can seem attainable. I am new to the field but compassion, empathy, and validation are not new to me. Building a relationship with someone who can provide a safe space for you is the first step in understanding your needs for change, and I am so excited to provide that safe space for you. I am currently under supervision with LaRhonda Flowers, MA, LIMHP, LADC, SAP at Restore Reconnect Counseling Center.

You don't always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go and see what happens.
