Eva Doescher holds a Masters in Public Administration and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Master Social Worker in Nebraska. Eva has experience navigating complex familial relationships with youth and young adults in medical and educational settings. Eva prioritizes solution-focused interventions along with eccentric modalities to teach and empower clients to reduce their symptoms of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, PTSD, ADHD, autism, child hood trauma, and systemic trauma (to include racial and community trauma). Eva is pursuing certifications in trauma focused CBT and DBT to increase mindfulness practices, acceptance strategies, and emotional regulation tools.
Eva has facilitated and led small groups on depression, anxiety, and identity acceptance and exploration (to include starting a LGBTQIA+ support group for teens in the past). Eva has a drive to support teens and young adults in accepting their ever-changing identities while charting a socially complex and systemic world. Eva specializes in connection with young adults of color and validates the unique experience of each human being. Eva is guided in her work by the mantra, “Be who you needed when you were younger,” which fuels her belief of helping others through strength-based and social learning theories.
Eva believes in creating a safe relationship and environment for clients so they can prioritize getting to know and appreciate how resilient they already are to continue growing in self-development.
